Auckland takeaway guide to level 3

We're lucky to have an amazing community of customers here at decent packaging. We wanted to create a series to promote a few Auckland businesses opening safely for takeaways during Level 3.

These past few weeks have been tough, but we are ready to get out and support our local community. Supporting doesn't only mean spending money – a follow on social media or a message with positive feedback can be greatly appreciated, everything helps. So check out our guide and show some love for local businesses. 

Cazador

Cazador will be making delicious hampers and takeaway options for you to enjoy. Hampers include bread pickles, crackers and condiments, plus an add-on option prepped venison rack and duck fat potatoes, with organic greens and anchovy dressing to heat and eat at home. 

The first Friday/Saturday take-out menu will be charcoal-grilled venison kebabs with flatbread, saffron rice, hummus and traditional condiments. Orders can be made online at cazador.co.nz/delicatessen/ with hampers shipped Auckland wide for free, and Friday/Saturday take-aways will be contactless click and collect.

Dedwood Deli

During level 3 Dedwood Deli will be offering sandwiches, salads, soups, oat bowls, bagels and juices. Available on Uber Eats under Dedwood Deli or via their website for pickup: www.dedwood.nz 

Bowl and Arrow

Bowl and Arrow will be offering click and collect, UberEats delivery, online and phone orders. The easiest way to order is through their website www.bowlandarrow.co.nz . If you are ordering through their website, once you have placed your order all you need to do is drive into the car park, give them a call on 09 520 3030, and they will bring your order out! Easy.

Good Day

Good Day will be open from 7 am - 2 pm daily to satisfy your takeaway needs! They will be selling coffee, baked goods like yummy slices that would be perfect for afternoon tea. Their counter sandwiches will be available plus a takeaway menu.

Orders can be placed via the Regulr App (takes payment through the app) or feel free to call in to place an order on 09 529 5048 (payment options - paywave at the door or bank transfer). Follow their Instagram account to see their menu specials!

Monsoon Coffee

Monsoon Coffee will be opening its dedicated drive-thru during level 3. They are fully contactless with Paywave as their shopfront will be closed.

Monsoon Coffee has a full takeaway coffee menu available as well as its roasted coffee (roasted daily) for pick up through the drive-thru. Perfect for anyone needing it faster than the couriers can get it out.

Best Ugly Bagels

Best Ugly Bagels will be serving up bagels sandwiches & Good Joe coffee along with bagel 4 packs, a range of deli goods and coffee for home. All of which are available to collect at the stores or have delivered to your place.
Contactless pickup and delivery options are all via their website. For pick up: https://bestugly.co.nz/order/ For delivery via Ubereats: https://bestugly.co.nz/ then hit the “Delivery” tab best ugly bagels have scan-to-order signs at their City Works Depot and Newmarket stores. All payments are made via the website or Uber to reduce touchpoints and make it a safer experience for everyone.
Plenty of parking available and space to collect and go. Victoria Park and the Auckland Domain are right by their bagel shops, so come grab a bagel and relax in the park. (Commercial Bay remains closed until level 2)

Williams Eatery

During level 3, Williams Eatery will be open from 9am - 1.30pm every day. Email hello@williamseatery.co.nz or slide into the DMs for preorder.

Kohi Beach

Kohi Beach will be operating safely during level three. Kohi Beach will be offering a delicious selection of food and coffee including baked goods, fish and chips, sandwiches and more. Customers can order via the Kohi Beach website. The items will be served contactless at their store.

Dear Deer Coffee

During Level 3, Dear Deer Coffee Roasting Bar will be making coffee with freshly roasted beans! Online orders are available for coffee beans via their website

Fort Greene

During Level 3, Fort Greene will be offering what they do best. A selection of their viennoiseries & sourdough loaves. They have a menu comprised of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, all made from scratch. Fort Greene's pantry will be full of the usual favourites (coffee beans, hot sauce, jars of preserves, etc). Alongside all this, they will be serving the exceptional Peoples Coffee.

Wise Boys Burgers

During level 3, Wise Boys will be back serving their Spicy Buffalo Chick burger special from the Grey Lynn store (commercial bay store closed until level 2). Order by calling on 09-360 0801, online through their website or Delivereasy and Uber Eats apps.

MELBA

Your local MELBA barista will satisfy your caffeine cravings, as well as offering a delicious selection of cabinet and menu items.  

Browne St.

During level 3, Browne St. will be opening 7am - Midday every day for take away coffees and cabinet food.
