Toastie Lords is a Picton-born eatery known for serving up legendary sourdough toasties. Founded in 2021, they’ve built a loyal following with their bold flavours, creative menu, and commitment to delivering a standout customer experience, every time.
We recently teamed up with Toastie Lords to roll out a new range of custom packaging that brings their brand to life. The updated designs are eye-catching, cohesive, and are made to stand out in every hand, on every table, and across every order.

Why Custom Branding matters to Toastie Lords.
For Toastie Lords, strong branding is something they’ve carefully built and proudly carry through every part of their business. Custom packaging has become an important tool for reinforcing their visual identity in a way that’s both practical and powerful. Here’s what their director, Taylor Hamilton shared about the value it brings:
"At Toastie Lords we've worked really hard on building a strong and unique brand. We're so proud of the visual identity we've created and want to show it off at every possible opportunity. I feel like in the Food & Beverage industry you perhaps have less opportunities to showcase your branding than in other industries, so packaging really is one of your main chances to get your brand out there. While custom packaging can be a big investment, we've come to realise just how much advertising your packaging does for you - we often get comments like "everyone in Picton is carrying around a green box today" or "I had to come figure out what all these green boxes are around town".
Custom branding is more than just the finished product, it’s also about the process and the people behind it.
“One of the best things about working with Decent Packaging has been getting to work with their in-house design team, who were able to transform the ideas I had in my head into real products. By providing them with our brand assets, colours and inspiration photos, they were able to pull it all together and bring the vision to life. It's also great to be able to tell our customers we're working with a packaging supplier that prioritises sustainability and uses environmentally friendly materials. Between food waste and packaging, hospitality has the potential to be such a wasteful industry but working with Decent Packaging is one of the ways we have attempted to minimise this.”
